I absolutely LOVE these two looks together. The lining of the Big Bow shows when you tie the knots, and, so it gives a touch of contrast. The ruffle pant, I used a wide leg, full ruffle pant. Ruffle Revolution and 25 Minute Pants

I have had my Janome Juno Serger, now, for almost 2 years. I love using it for rolled hems, and, for that reason alone it is invaluable. Today I learned something new with it. I learned how to gather ruffles with it. (Insert Ohs and Ahs). Gathering ruffles is a VERY time consuming process. My previous method entailed first hand gathering the ruffles, which were never even, and I spent HOURS trying to get them evenly distributed, and then, sometimes the gathering threads would pull back through the stitches which means you have to redo the whole thing… Never EVER again. I changed all my serger settings, and it turned out PERFECT. Here are my 25 Minute (including cutting) Ruffle Pants. (Pattern Info HERE). Here’s a little basic how to.

Flutter Romper

The newest addition to Lil’ Liza Lou’s Spring/Summer 2013 line, is the Flutter Romper (pattern info). This is a fully customizable, and beautiful romper. Highlights include, little flutter sleeves, bows that tie at the sides, and, various lengths, from shorts (pictured above), to capri, to a full ruffle pant. Embroidery is available. Vintage Romper

Brand New, Just In! Lil’ Liza Lou, brings you the Vintage Romper (pattern by Ellie Inspired). It is absolutely adorable, and includes boy and girl versions. This one is View A, and has flutter sleeves and has little ties at the waist that tie in a bow (next time I will make it a different color for photo purposes). This is a fuller romper style and doesn’t show a lot of skin, very modest, and, has five buttons up the back and a little placket. Ahoy Mateys Top and Sailor Shorts

Brand New Just In! Ahoy Mateys! Using Peek-A-Boo Sailor Shorts and a flutter sleeve top (made by me, for Loo size)  The top buttons in back, and has the cutest flutter sleeves. Lined. The shorts were absolutely too cute. I didn’t add the cuff to the bottom, because I liked them a little shorter. The pockets are real pockets, and I love them. What do you think?
